The FIS Technical Centre
The technical centre is designed to help you find information relating to structural waterproofing and waterproofing design. It is very important to give a lot of attention to the design of waterproofing systems and ensure they are correctly designed.
Structural Waterproofing Design
To ensure a waterproofing system is installed correctly it has to be designed correctly with a design which is practicable. A practicable design is appreciated by contractors and we can help architects and engineers achieve this with our extensive experience dealing with waterproofing situations on sites.
When involved in a project we have experience in advising property managers, developers and asset managers on how best to waterproof their building and what the options are for the chosen construction method. We then work with architects and engineers to build on the basic concept and develop a series of working detail drawings. It is at this stage we strive to ensure the design is as practical as possible so that when the project enters construction phase, the contractor has no problem with delivering an installed system with ease.
We work with contractors every day and understand construction sites and the pressures involved, this enables us to deliver quality onsite training, advice and installation quality control.
Installation and Quality
The installation and quality control stage of the project is the most critical stage which is why we provide unlimited site inspections and unlimited use of Premtrac. This means the contractor can be sure they have installed correctly and using Premtrac makes the quality control task very streamlined and easy. Photos, markups, inspection reports and detail designs are all kept in one place.
Premtrac also allows any stakeholder in a project to track the progress of installation at any time from any location.
